Lego 'stolen' from Lakeside worth £1k found by police in car in Sevenoaks

A £1,000 stash of Lego thought to have been stolen from Lakeside has been found in a car stopped by police.

The suspicious car was spotted and pulled over by officers in the Sevenoaks area today.

Inside, they found £1,000 worth of Lego.

The haul included Vespa 125 kits thought to retail at about £90, and Lego Technic kits to build an "app-controlled transformation vehicle" that retail at about £115 apiece.

In a post on Twitter, Kent Police Sevenoaks told how checks with Essex Police soon established the stash had reportedly just been stolen from Lakeside shopping centre in Essex.
