Twelve people have been arrested by Kent Police after break-ins at electronic stores in Otford Road, Sevenoaks, and Norman Road, Ashford, during the early hours of December 10 and 12.

High value equipment, including laptop computers, were taken.

Police arrested 12 suspects within hours of the last break-in

Two men, both aged 18, were detained in The Parade, Ashford, at around 5.50am yesterday following a search that took place after the second burglary was reported.

A further two men, aged 22 and 26, were arrested in London Road, Maidstone, at around 7am yesterday.

They were detained following a report that a vehicle suspected to have been involved in the offences was travelling in the area.
