Firefighters stopped a blaze spreading to a barn containing livestock.

Two crews were called to Eggpie Lane in Sevenoaks Weald at 10pm yesterday, where a fire had started in a skip.

The heat had caused damaged to the wall of a barn, and the animals evacuated while the flames were extinguished.

Crews left the scene at 10.40pm, after checking the outbuilding was safe.
