Police renew appeal for witnesses after cyclist dies on A20 in Wrotham

Officers are still looking for witnesses after a cyclist died in a collision a week ago.

The incident involving a grey Peugeot 208 happened on the A20 London Road between Old Coach Road and Gravesend Road, Wrotham at 3.30pm last Saturday.

The force attended along with paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service but the rider, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.

The car was driving in the direction of Sevenoaks.

Kent Police’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit believe there are still people who saw what happened and are yet to come forward, especially those travelling up Wrotham Hill.

Inquiries are still ongoing and officers would like to hear from witnesses or anyone who may have dashcam or CCTV footage that could assist them.
