A spokesman for Kent Police said: "Officers from the roads policing unit are seeking information from anyone who has not yet spoken to police, including those who may have seen either vehicle in the moments leading up to the collision.

"Motorists are asked to check dashcams for any important footage and police are also keen to hear from drivers of several vehicles which stopped at the scene and who provided assistance before emergency services arrived."
