A driver has been arrested after a 155mph police chase in the early hours.

Officers began following a BMW after it failed to stop in Sevenoaks.

The car was pursued to Tonbridge, reaching speeds of 155mph, before it crashed.

Police said the driver then fled on foot and was chased by officers who used a Taser gun.

The suspect was arrested for dangerous driving and driving while under the influence of drink and drugs. They remain in custody.
