A train that broke down between Sevenoaks and Tonbridge stations earlier this afternoon is still causing disruption for commuters.

Train services running through these stations may be cancelled or delayed by up to 90 minutes at short notice.

Southeastern said there is no estimate of how long the hold up will last but it is likely to continue until at least 6:00pm.

This will affect trains between Hastings, Tunbridge Wells, Ramsgate and London Charing Cross.

London Underground will accept ticket holders, and passengers from Ashford may travel on the High Speed services at no extra cost.
