Sevenoaks: Buckets full of cannabis found with cocaine after police follow BMW to Queen's Drive, Sevenoaks

Police discovered buckets filled with cannabis , along with what is thought to be cocaine, earlier this week.

Plain clothes officers followed a suspicious BMW from Greatness Lane in Sevenoaks to nearby Queen's Drive at around 2.30pm on Tuesday.

When the driver pulled up outside a property and ran inside, officers followed him inside.

The suspect, a 37-year-old man from Sevenoaks, was searched along with the vehicle and the property under the Misuse of Drugs Act.

Police found three buckets filled with cannabis, along with suspected cocaine wrapped in betting slips.

The total amount of cannabis is thought to be between three and four kilograms.

Around £1,000 in cash was also seized.

The suspect was arrested on suspicion of possessing Class A and Class B drugs with intent to supply.

He was subsequently released pending further investigation.
