Sevenoaks: Bus window damaged by rock thrown from bridge

Police are investigating after a rock was thrown at a bus from a bridge above a motorway.

Officers in Sevenoaks were called to a bridge above the M25 this morning.

A tweet from Police in Sevenoaks said: “Report received of rock thrown from bridge onto M25, damaging a coach window. This is so dangerous.”

A spokesman for Kent Police added: “Kent Police was called at 10.31am regarding a report that the windscreen of a bus had been damaged by an object as it travelled under a bridge on the M25 between junctions 4 and 5.

“Inquiries are ongoing into the circumstances surrounding the incident and anybody who has any information is asked to call 101 quoting reference number 10-0384.”
