The driver of this brightly-hued Nissan Juke became stranded after the car ran out of fuel on the M20 near Wrotham last night.

Police were called to the to the area between junction 2 (Sevenoaks) and junction 3 (Borough Green) just after 9pm.

The initial report suggested the vehicle had broken down but when officers arrived they found it had been moved to the hard shoulder after running empty.

Officers gave out road safety advice but took no further action.
