A mum has been banned from having visitors after complaints of anti-social behaviour.

Sevenoaks District Council received several reports about noise and potentially illegal activities at the home of Lucy Coleman in Manor Road, Edenbridge.

The property is in Manor Road, Edenbridge.

The local authority and housing association said they had taken steps to limit the problems, but these were repeatedly breached.

The complaints made reference to noise and allegations of illegal behaviour at the rented property, caused by the Coleman and her visitors.

Maidstone Magistrates' Court issued a three-month partial closure order on Tuesday, preventing anyone but the mother and her child from entering.

If anyone is found visiting between now and November 27 they may be committing a criminal offence.

Cllr Lesley Dyball said: “The safety of our residents is a top priority for this council and we will not tolerate anti-social behaviour.

"Neighbours and local residents will be relieved we have taken this action."
