Sevenoaks district council vehicle collided with an articulated lorry in Bradbourne Vale Road in Sevenoaks this morning

Traffic was brought to a standstill in Sevenoaks this morning after a collision between an articulated lorry and a council vehicle.

Kent Police were called to the incident at 10.05 which involved a council drainage cleaner on the A25 at Bradbourne Vale Road.

The road was temporarily blocked and caused delays.

The teen was arrested yesterday.

Pierre Jalon, who was taking part in a driving lesson at the time of the accident tweeted afterwards: "Crash in sevenoaks this morning lorry vs council truck. Didn't see it but got stuck at the front for ages during a driving lesson."

The area was cleared by 11.05am.
