Kemsing: Renewed appeal after cyclist dies in hospital after crash on Pilgrims Way

A cyclist has died in hospital after coming off his bike in Kemsing.

Police are renewing their appeal for witnesses to the collision on Wednesday afternoon.

Officers were called to Pilgrims Way in Kemsing around 1.55pm after reports that a man had fallen from his bike.

The air ambulance has been called to the scene

The man, in his 70s from Bromley, was cycling as part of a group at the time of the incident, and no other vehicles are reported to have been involved.

He was airlifted to a hospital in London, where he died yesterday. His next of kin have been informed.

Collision investigators are now appealing for witnesses to come forward, and are appealing to anyone who has not yet spoken to them to get in touch.
