A driver who crashed into a street sign has been arrested on suspicion of drink driving.

Officers were called to Dartford Road in Horton Kirby at around 8.50pm last night where a white van had hit a sign.

The vehicle's bumper and windscreen was destroyed after the collision.

Officer's attended and breathalysed the 45-year-old driver at the side of the road.

He was arrested and remains in police custody today.
