Firefighters were called to a fire involving an oil-fuelled stove last night.

Crews wore breathing apparatus and used a hose reel jet to extinguish the flames in a kitchen in Hever Road, Edenbridge.

When the two fire engines arrived around 7pm the occupants of the property had got out safely.

There were no reported injuries.
