The Met Office have released warnings of flash floods across the County and are urging people to be cautious.

Heavy rain across parts of Kent has already resulted in flash flooding in Sevenoaks today, and now motorists are being warned to take extra care when travelling.

A yellow warning for heavy showers and possible localised flash flooding has been issued by the Met Office.

A spokesman said: "We are urging people to take extra care and be aware that throughout the night there is a chance of very heavy rainfall."

Kent Fire and Rescue Service are advising motorists not to try and drive through floods as they are often deeper than they look.
