Three adults and two infants were hospitalised after a two vehicle accident in Hever Road near Edenbridge Road in Sevenoaks

Five people were hospitalised after a two-vehicle crash in Sevenoaks, which left one man trapped in his car.

Police and firefighters were called to reports of the incident in Edenbridge Road near the golf course just after 11am on Saturday.

A Honda Civic and BMW 520 crashed, leaving one man trapped.

The ambulance came about 90 minutes late. Stock picture.

Firefighters used hydraulic cutting equipment to remove him from the vehicle, and he was later treated by paramedics.

Another male, and female, both thought to be in their 40s, and a baby and young child, had got out of the cars before emergency services arrived.

Three ambulances attended and paramedics carried out initial treatment on those involved, before transferring them all to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury for further assessment.

There are no reports of any serious injuries.
