Gang attack victim breaks ankle

POLICE have made five arrests after a man was assaulted by a group people in a Kent town last night.

The victim was set upon in Hillingdon Avenue, Sevenoaks, at around 10.30pm.

As a result of the attack, the man suffered a broken ankle and head injuries that required hospital treatment.

Four young men aged between 14 and 19 were arrested shortly after the incident and a 22-year-old man was arrested this morning. All are in police custody.

De Sgt Ben Turner said: "This was a particularly unpleasant assault that has left the victim quite shaken."
