Good causes get help from Sevenoaks Town Council

A number of good causes have received support from Sevenoaks Town Council.

The council has made grants to the West Kent Mediation Volunteer Service for training, supervision and expenses, plus hall hire costs and publicity - £800. To Sevenoaks Three Arts Festival for administration costs in relation to the annual performing arts festival, to be held by video this year - £600. To Friends of Pontoise to build on and expand links between Sevenoaks and Pontoise (in France) to promote cultural exchange and understanding - £250.

Voluntary groups are getting help in Sevenoaks

Grants have also been made to Sevenoaks Volunteer Transport Group so it can continue to support elderly people requiring low-cost local transport and attending vaccination appointments - £1,000. To West Kent Mind to support the continuation of a free skiffle music group, subject to public health guidelines - £900. To Sevenoaks Larder to help residents struggling to pay for their weekly food shop - £993.
