Sevenoaks woman rescued by air ambulance after being injured in a fall during horse ride

A woman was rescued by an air ambulance after being injured during a horse ride.

The Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance was called to reports of the rider being injured after a fall just before 10.30 am on Sunday July 6.

She had fallen whilst using a public bridlepath close to Broadhoath Wood, near Bitchet Green.

The air ambulance was called as the rural area was difficult to access.

Crews transported the woman to Tunbridge Wells Hospital in Pembury with minor abdominal injuries.
