Clio car sought in Kemsing fire "arson"

Police have launched a hunt for a silver Renault Clio car which was seen near the site of a farm fire.

If is believed a stack of straw was set alight deliberately.

A police spokesman said: "Enquiries are being made following a stack of straw being set alight in Heaverham Road, Kemsing.

"We would like to hear from anyone who saw three vehicles, in particularly a silver Clio, in the area around 9pm on Saturday night."

She added: "At this stage, it is not known if the fire was started deliberately. Enquiries are ongoing."

Fire crews warned neighbours to keep their doors and windows shut to keep out smoke as they fought the blaze.
