Long delays on M25 near M26 junction after motorbike collides with car

Motorists on the M25 are facing long delays following a collision between a motorbike and a car tonight.

The accident happened just after 6pm at junction 5 with the M26.

The motorcyclist suffered head injuries in the crash and was treated at the scene by paramedics before being taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital.

His injuries are not believed to be life-threatening.

The car driver is not thought to be injured.

Police closed the anticlockwise carriageway and tailbacks were stretching back more than ten miles.

The road is now open but delays are still expected.
