Sevenoaks police officers critical of drivers who ignored road closures in Edenbridge after crash

Police officers dealing with a crash have slammed drivers who ignored road closures put in place for safety.

Kent Police were called at 6.50am regarding a collision involving two cars on Hever Road, Edenbridge.

Officers and the South East Coast Ambulance Service attended the scene where one person received medical attention and was taken to hospital as a precaution.

The road was closed while emergency services dealt with the incident and was reopened at 10.00am once the vehicles had been recovered.

However, @kentpolice7oaks tweeted: "PC Callum and PCSO Jo were in Edenbridge this morning. We were dealing with an RTC.

"Unfortunately a few drivers ignored our road closure which was in place to keep everyone at scene safe. Thankfully everyone was OK."
