Kent commuters have been enduring long delays on the M25 today after a crash blocked the motorway.

Motorists faced two-hour journeys on the clockwise carriageway after the smash shortly before 7am.

The accident between Clacket Lane services and J6 for Godstone sparked severe delays, with congestion back to J4 at Orpington.

Congestion was back to J3 of the M25 and a 50mph speed restriction was put in place in a bid to ease congestion.

The crash also caused long knock-on delays for traffic on the M26 west-bound between J2A at Wrotham/Brands Hatch and the M25 at Sevenoaks.
