Man charged after targetting stores in Kemsing and Lamberhurst

A suspected burglar has been charged after targetting two stores in west Kent.

In November, an attempted break in at 1am at a Kemsing shop was reported to Kent Police.

Asso Salhi is to appear at Medway Magistrates' Court today

Two hours later, a Lamberhurst store in High Street was burgled, with cigarettes stolen.

Two days ago, Asso Salhi of Rooley Moor Road, Rochdale, was arrested and charged with attempted burglary and burglary.

He was also charged with a burglary in Leeds in February, where cigarettes were taken.

The 30-year-old was remanded in custody to appear at Medway Magistrates’ Court today.
