Justin Gange, of Bullfinch Dene, Riverhead, charged after police officer assaulted

A police officer has been assaulted and a man arrested after a disturbance at a house.

Officers from Kent Police were called to Bullfinch Dene in Riverhead, near Sevenoaks, where they arrested 49-year-old Justin Gange.

It is alleged the officer was assaulted while dealing with a disturbance at the address on Saturday, March 23 .

Gange, of Bullfinch Dene, was later charged with assault, assaulting an emergency worker, criminal damage, taking a motor vehicle without consent, disqualified driving and driving without insurance.

He has been remanded in custody and will appear by video link before Maidstone Magistrates’ Court on Thursday.
