Sevenoaks: Man charged with burglaries at homes and school

A man has appeared before magistrates after being charged with burglaries at two homes and a school.

Lee Graham Martin, a 42-year-old man with Swanley connections, has been charged with several offences.

Martin was arrested on Saturday and was subsequently charged with burglaries at a house in St George’s Road, Sevenoaks on May 15.

He was also charged with a burglary at a house in St Johns Hill, Sevenoaks on May 4 and a school in Bradbourne Vale Road, Sevenoaks, on April 15.

Martin was also charged with going equipped to steal, two thefts of pedal cycles, a theft from a vehicle, four thefts from shops and criminal damage.

He appeared before Mid-Kent Magistrates' Court on Monday where he was remanded in custody and will now appear before Maidstone Crown Court on a date to be confirmed.
