Teenage gang leave man in hospital after Edenbridge attack

A man in his 50s was hospitalised after being assaulted by a gang of teenagers in Edenbridge.

Officers received a call stating that the man was attacked by three boys in the High Street near its junction with Church Street between 5.45pm and 6.10pm on Wednesday.

The suspects, who are described as being aged between 15 to 17 years old, ran from the scene towards Edenbridge recreation ground.

Police are appealing for information following the assault.

Police patrols and South East Coast Ambulance Service attended and the victim was treated for a facial cut and bruising. He went to a local hospital for further medical attention.
