A man has been taken to hospital after a crash involving a car and a lorry, which caused tailbacks on the M25.

Police were called to the collision on the anticlockwise carriageway at junction 5 for the M26 at about 5am.

The route was closed while ambulance teams and fire crews dealt with the incident near Sevenoaks.

A man was treated for a cut to his head and taken to hospital.

The carriageway fully reopened shortly after 7.30am.
