Stag Community Arts Centre to welcome Military Wives Choir and The Royal Marines Association Concert Band

A community arts centre is preparing to welcome two military bands.

The Royal Marines Association Concert Band and Portsmouth Military Wives Choir have teamed up to present a programme of music on Sunday July 20.

Both groups regularly perform together to large audiences throughout the UK and will be bringing their show to the Stag Community Arts Centre in Sevenoaks.

The Royal Marines Association Band and the Military Wives Choir in Portsmouth

The Royal Marines band is formed of more than 50 musicians who collectively have more than 1,800 service, while the choir has more than 80 members and is the largest military wives gathering in the UK.

The Military Wives Choir will be joining the Royal Marines Association Band at the Stag Community Arts Centre

It is the first visit to Sevenoaks for both groups but they hope to return in the future.
