An accident on the M25 is causing long delays for motorists.

One lane of the clockwise carriageway is closed at junction 5 just before the off-slip M26 access.

There is currently a 30mph speed enforcement in place. Kent Police was called to reports of the incident at 3.07pm.

A spokesperson said it is believed a car has hit the central reservation.

It is thought normal traffic conditions will resume by 4.15pm.
