A file will be prepared for the coroner.

Last night, Southeastern advised anyone affected by the incident should contact the Samaritans.

It also confirmed disruptions faced to services in the area and in and out of London.

The operator said trains that would normally finish at Sevenoaks were terminated at Orpington. Mainline services also faced diversions.

Southeastern arranged a replacement bus service between Orpington and Sevenoaks and diverted trains running to London and back.

The line re-opened around 11pm.
