Police called to St James’s Road, Sevenoaks, after thieves attack man

Police are on the hunt for a group of thieves who forced their way into a home armed with knives.

Officers were called at 10.15pm to St James’s Road in Sevenoaks, after the group attacked a resident and stole money along with several mobile phones.

The suspects are alleged to have been armed with knives and one of the people at the home was assaulted, suffering injuries including cuts to his hands.

A police helicopter was seen flying over the area at around the same time on Sunday.

The investigation is ongoing and no arrests have been made.
