Three arrested in 'stolen car' in Sevenoaks

Three people have been arrested in Sevenoaks after a car reported stolen was then linked to shoplifting offences.

A Rover 75 is alleged to have been taken from outside an address in Wrotham Road, Gravesend, during the early hours of Monday, March 26. Patrols spotted the vehicle the same day, at around 3.30pm and it was stopped in Amherst Hill, Sevenoaks.

The driver and passengers were all arrested and a large quantity of meat believed to have been stolen from a nearby supermarket was also recovered.

Officers have three suspects in custody

The suspects, a man aged 26 and of no fixed address, a man aged 31 from Gravesend, and a 35-year-old woman from Weald near Sevenoaks, all remain in custody.
