It was fun working from home for a while, but most of us have come to miss the office camaraderie.

Siobhan Hobson has the answer: she has opened Help! Suites - a new co-working office space in Cobden Road, Sevenoaks .

Many firms are planning on continuing the work-from-home scenario, perhaps with just one or two days a week in the office, but can the upkeep associated with maintaining a large office building then be justified?

At Help! Suites it is possible to hire a meeting room, a permanent desk space or a hot desk that you use for just a short time.

Miss Hobson said: "Having worked from home as a virtual assistant for a number of years, I began to crave working in an office environment again.

"While I loved the flexibility being at home gave me, I missed the social interaction of being in an office.

"With a growing business, I also found that meeting clients and my team in coffee shops or at their homes started to feel unprofessional."

"I longed for a space I could hire on a flexible basis, unfortunately there wasn’t anything that suited me in Sevenoaks.

"So I decided I would open my own."

She has spent since January renovating the property at 1 Cobden Road, with a new kitchen, bathrooms, floors, electrics, heating and decoration.

She said: "It’s been a labour of love, but we got there and we are so proud of the space.

She said: "With stylish furniture and comfy seating Help! Suites feels like a quirky little home-from-home not a stuffy traditional office environment."

"There’s always refreshments available, a neat little breakout area for you to take a break from your screen in and a friendly bunch of people to make you feel welcome.

"It really is a little space for big ideas!"

The Mayor of Sevenoaks Cllr Nicholas Busvine will be visiting the property on October 14 to open the business officially.
