A Hever road will be closed for a week to enable tree removals to be carried out.

Rectory Lane is due to be shut between the junction of Uckfield and Pig Down Lanes from today until 5pm on Wednesday.

There is no alternative route for motorists to take but Kent County Council said every effort will be made to maintain access for residents when safe to do so.
