A teenager has been left with possible spinal injuries after being struck by a scaffolding pole in Sevenoaks.

Emergency services were called to Bradbourne Vale Road just after 9am to reports of a collision involving a lorry and a 16-year-old boy.

It's understood a piece of scaffolding fell from a passing lorry and hit the young boy in the back.

The teen was arrested yesterday.

One ambulance was sent to the scene and the road was temporarily closed while paramedics treated him.

The teenager has been taken to Tunbridge Wells Hospital with possible spinal injuries.
