Westerham Nisa Local cash machine targeted by thieves near Sevenoaks

A shop remains shut after thieves tried to take its cash machine overnight.

The Nisa Local in Westerham, near Sevenoaks, was targeted just before 1am this morning.

A group of men reportedly tried to force open the Market Square store's cash machine.

The Nisa Local in Market Square, Westerham, was targeted by thieves overnight (14836295)

They failed to do so, but damaged the shop's front door during the raid.

No items were stolen.

The shop has stayed closed so far this morning, but hopes to reopen later today.
