A music school and choir in Kent will be collaborating in a songwriting and singing workshop for children this month.

During the workshop, the Apollo Youth Choir and the Purcell School of Music will work with two composers from the Purcell School staff, including Alison Cox, OBE, head of composition at the school and former Walthamstow Hall pupil.

Each child will have the chance to write their own song and sing it as a solo or in a group to an invited audience.
