Drivers are facing delays after a lorry shed its load.

It happened on the A21 Sevenoaks Bypass heading northbound towards Sevenoaks.

Traffic is queuing from the A225 Morley's roundabout to the A25 Westerham Road.

It is thought a consignment of food products was scattered on the carriageway.

There is congestion in Tonbridge and drivers are being diverted through Sevenoaks.

A police spokesman said they were called at about 4.55am and officers closed the road earlier while Highways workers cleared the debris.

Highways England said the road has now reopened but delays of up to an hour remain as traffic clears.
