The train stopped stopped at Tunbridge Wells where the carriage was evacuated, and the driver announced the carriage had been 'shot at.'

It is not known if anyone has been injured.

British Transport Police were called just after 7pm and say it is not clear if the train was shot or if the damage was caused by stones or a similar projectile.
