A shocking video allegedly showing a drink driver swerving his van across the M25 has been released by police.

Officers from the Surrey force spotted the white van yesterday afternoon on the stretch of motorway heading into Kent , near Clacket Lane services, before Junction 5 (Sevenoaks, the M26 and M20).

Despite a patrol car with all emergency lights activated pulling up behind the van, the driver does not stop.

Later, as the police vehicle moves into the middle lane, the oblivious driver appears to weave over to the middle section and at one point comes dangerously close to the fast lane.

Surrey Police tweeted around two minutes of footage, which showed the van did eventually start to slow down.
