An air ambulance has been called after a serious collision between a car and a motorbike.

Police have closed the road following the crash as emergency services attend the scene.

Officers were called to Leysdown Road, Leysdown, at around 12.30pm, and shut the road.

A spokesman for the police said: "South East Coast Ambulance Service and Air Ambulance Kent Surrey Sussex are in attendance and are assessing for injuries at the scene."

The ambulance services have been contacted for more information.
