Air ambulance called to The Glen in Minster, Sheppey

An air ambulance was scrambled this morning to attend a medical emergency in Minster.

Kent, Surrey and Sussex Air Ambulance landed in The Glen, off The Broadway, at about 9.30am.

Crews were joined by paramedics from the South East Coast Ambulance Service to treat a patient, believed to be in Abbeyview Drive.

The patient was flown to hospital at about 10.20am.

SECAmb and the air ambulance service could not release any other details as they were called to a private address.
