Police release CCTV after bank card theft in Sheerness

Police have released the picture of a man they would like to speak to in connection with a stolen bank card.

The card was used to withdraw money from a cashpoint at Tesco in Bridge Road, Sheerness at about 5.45pm on Thursday, May 10.

It had been stolen from outside a house in Marine Parade, Sheerness about 45 minutes earlier.

The card was among items in a handbag that had been left on a pushchair outside the property.

Keys, cash and a birth certificate were also in the bag.

Police released the CCTV still today and appealed for people to help identify the man, pictured.

Anyone who recognises him should call police on 01795 419119 quoting crime reference XY/027934/1.

Alternatively call Crimestoppers, anonymously, on 0800 555111.
