Competitors on Channel 4’s Hunted ended the series on the Island last night after a short stint through Sittingbourne.

Locations such as the Coniston Hotel on London Road in Sittingbourne, Queenborough harbour and the Sheppey Crossing were used in the programme.

The four finalists have had to hide for a month from top ‘hunters’, in order to win a share of £100,000.

The hunters use top technology to attempt to track them down via methods such as phone signals and CCTV.

The programme finished under the Sheppey Crossing, with the contestants clambering on-board a small getaway boat.

Much to the dismay of residents, the hunters mispronounced Queenborough, calling it ‘Queensborough’ multiple times - with one resident commenting: "They keep saying Queensborough! Arghhhhhhhhhhh".
