Cow trapped up to its neck in water-filled ditch in Minster-on-Sea

A cow has been pulled to safety after being found trapped up to its neck in a water-filled ditch.

Crews from the fire service's animal rescue team were called to the scene in Queenborough Road in Minster-on-Sea just before 4.30pm.

They used mud rescue equipment to release the animal.
