Elderly man and woman rescued from car

Two elderly people had to be rescued from a car by fire fighters after a collision.
Crews were called to an incident involving two vehicles in Marine Parade, Sheerness, on Wednesday at about 3.15pm.
Two pumps from Sheerness responded and had to rescue an elderly man and woman who were trapped in one of the vehicles.
An ambulance crew was also on the scene, and both of the people were removed from the car.

Fire crews were on the scene for more than an hour, and the man and woman were taken to hospital.
