One of Sheppey's main roads is being closed tonight for emergency repairs.

The A2500 Lower Road between Barton Hill Drive and Scocles Road at Minster is being shut from 7pm to be resurfaced.

The roadworks should be finished by 5am tomorrow, in time for the morning's commuters.
