Even if we can't go back to the gym yet, fitness coach Ryan Thompson believes we should all be looking our best.

So he has brought out his own range of leisure wear for ladies. He has teamed up with Queenborough firm Handy Prints to launch Gym Envy on Sheppey.

Ryan, 44, from Scocles Road, Minster, said: "The range went live this month. This is the ideal time for women to get their hands on new attire for their exercise routines.

"We are providing best quality, on a par with the big names already out there, but at affordable prices."

The dad of eight-year-old twin girls runs RPT Fitness Solutions from a gym in New Road, Sheerness, and previously worked at the Shurland Hotel, Eastchurch.

He said: "We are also focussing on plus-sizes because we know not every woman who works out is a fitness model. We believe this range will be unique to your physique."

The company has a page on Facebook and a website is expected to launch this Saturday, July 18. Islanders can visit Handy Prints shop in Woodhall Terrace off the High Street to place their order.

Ryan undertook a 24-hour non-stop workout in April to raise £1.4 million for the NHS. He managed £2,800 but said: “It is still a lot of money to raise in one session and I am proud of what I did.”

The event also raised awareness of mental health.
